I am Phyllangia americana

Of the Scleractinia, family

This is what I looked like when mom first bought me. I have clear tenicles with white rings and white tips. I have a creamy yellow mouth, which is attached to the rock, there is no tube. A red ring and two rows of tenicles. Mom thinks there might be 32 but she's not positive on that number. It's really hard to count them in the picture and I move to much to keep track.

This is what I look like a year later. I am much happier, healthier, thriving and reproducing. There is a blue and white Asterina star fish in the bottom right hand corner. For size reference. Best mom has found for an ID is some type of LPS coral. I like low water flow and lower lighting. I am from Florida and am on a cultured live rock.
