This page is for the customers feedback. I have yet to have an unhappy customer, I like to tell you up front what the horse is about and so far everyone has been prepared and ready for their new arrival..
Bill is a pony mule, sweet little guy, and Sachet is a draft cross filly that I placed recently, they made it to their new home 1 23 04 their new mom is very tickled with her new family members and sent me the greatest email...
Hi Bridget!!--Well, I finally made it to my
mom's yesterday.............OH MY GOSH!!! They are so adorable and my mom
is so in love with both of them!! She is crazy about them. I could only spend
the day yesterday since we have some house
stuff going on today and I'll tell you what...........I really had a hard time
walking out that barn door. Sachett, of course, was
just a doll as soon as I got there. However, Bill was cautious and would turn
and walk away from me and all which I kind of
expected since you told me he took a couple of days to warm up to you, too...........until
I had to leave. He got so sweet and
loveable and I just could not leave. I gave him a couple of good scratches and
finally had to tell him I would see him in a few
days for the weekend. What cuties they are. The really cute thing is my dad
absolutely is buddies with Bill. He just loves
him. Which, for my dad to take to an animal like that immediately....is something
else. He really likes animals, but he became
attached to Bill right away. So it's wonderful and I can't thank you enough!!!
I'll keep you posted and
send pics soon. My digital camera wasn't working yesterday of course and I took
regular photos, but am not sure how good
they came out. Every time i stepped in front of them to take the picture, they
followed me and Bill kept stepping in front of
Sachett and looking at the camera.......it was hysterical!! Any way, just wanted
to let you know both are doing great and I
will keep you posted! Thanks so much!! You've made my parents and me too! very
happy!!! Take care and I'll talk to
you soon---
Opal is a mini filly, adorable little lady that came in pretty scared and hard to handle at first. She took no time to realize that she was in a safe caring place and she turned sweet as gold within a few days, one of the easiest ones I've dealt with in a long time..
Her mom's last email
Hello just a quick hello to say Merry Christmas
and that Opal is just great she had a trim last week and she was an Angel and
I
just finished clipping her all up and she again was an Angel she is so cute
she has gotten very attached to us and we are working
around in her yard she is everywhere we are when we raked up the leaves in the
fall she was playing in the piles and pouncing on
the tarp we used. if we are in the office "in the garage" working
she comes in and hangs out with us all of my employees love her
the guys get all mushy with her it is to funny to see construction workers baby
talking to her well I wish you well, take care
Princess, boy she was tough, she was 2 with no training at all when I brought her in. I took a long time placing her, she is VERY smart and tried really hard but not for just anyone..
Hi, Bridget, things are going real good. She
is getting alot friendlier. She has been letting me brush her. Though
she is a little Leary of the halter. But she seems to be coming around just
great. She is a very sweet mare and I
love her very much.Thanks
Pearl and Jasper are a mother daughter pair of mini's and Braveheart was a mini stallion that I brought in and gelded, all three went to a nice home close to me, her email the day she got them home..
Pearl's doing good, Jasper, I noticed a bump
on the side of her nose (Kind
of looks like one does with an abscessed tooth) that I am watching don't
know if she bumped it during the ride here or not as never noticed until
Sunday. I doesn't seem to hurt her too much as I can touch it with no
problem. Brave had to look the place over and check things out before he got
out of the trailer, other than that he has settled down to his new
surroundings. He's even coming up to the fence to get a smell, so is Pearl.
Jasper still says no way I am going to make it easy, so have to fool her to
get ahold of her but once shes caught she's just fine. I think that they are
all coming along just fine though.
Jake is a colt that I rescued at only 10 days old and bucket fed, he was pretty traumatized coming in, loosing his mom who was sent out on the slaughter truck before I could save her, then coming to stay here all in one day.
Hi Bridget!
Diamond is doing great! He is in with the big guys doing fine.He is just
starting to
lose that furry coat.I can't wait to see his shiny dark coat.I'm having a
hard time
getting a good picture of him because he just walks up to close to the
camera.
He's not spooky one bit! He's just to curious.Good luck with your baby!
Little Boy Blue, he started the whole thing of rescueing the horses. He was a gorgous boy, blue roan paint with blue eye's, gelding, 4 with little training. His owner has had him for a few yrs and is allowing children to ride him on trails with her. VERY spoiled and in a great home where I know he's well cared for..
He's just so adorable and too much fun! We've
had quite a
good first day here and I think he's gonna be just fine. He's fitting in
wonderfully and everyone is nuts about him. The two of them.... jeez, such
treat beggars!!!! You get a pair of brown eyes and a pair of blue ones
batting at you and YOU'RE THROUGH!! These two know how to work it....
You are quite the amazing woman Bridget, and I'm very glad to have met
you.... thanks for saving this little guy, he is quite worth it! And if
you're ever down this way, you absolutely MUST come by to see him!
Have a good night tonight, don't freeze out there..
